What is Dyslexia?
Dyslexia is a neurologically based, often familial disorder which interferes with the acquisition and processing of language. Varying in degrees of severity, it causes problems in receptive and expressive language. This can be seen as difficulty with reading fluency and comprehension, handwriting, spelling, writing essays, pronunciation, and even arithmetic. (source: The National Orton Society)
